History

2008 Tainan Office was expanded to Tainan Plant and started operation in July.

2007 HARVARD was ranked 1412th in the publication “Top 5000 Largest Corporations in Taiwan.”

2007 This year, it was ranked 386 in the Top 500 Service Industry of Common Wealth Magazine, which is an increase of 17 places from last year.

2006 Taichung Plant II started operation. It specialized in the slitting/shearing and processing of aluminium sheets and coils.

2006 Hsinchu Plant started operation to serve the corporations located in Hsinchu Science Park as well as the TFT-LCD manufacturers in the Hsinchu area.

2004 Tainan Office was set up with a view to providing in-time services to the customers in southern Taiwan.

2003 To stand on the world stage, we decided to expand our overseas trades in China. “Customers Satisfaction and Recognition” are always the goals we are striving for.

2002 Taipei Warehouse ( Lu-chow Plant) was set up to enhance our service to the customers in northern Taiwan. It is not only a warehouse but also a cutting center for aluminum thick plates.

2001 Raised capital to NTD100,000,000 and changed corporate name to “Harvard Enterprises Inc.”.

2001 Invested San Young Aluminum Co. Ltd (Wu Ku Plant), a cutting center that specialized in slitting/ shearing/ leveling aluminum sheets and coils.

2000 Taichung Plant I equipped additional cutting machine and vertical band saw for particular thick plates. Taichung Plant I is also the first plant that uses Auto-Warehousing System in Taiwan.

2000 Harvard brought in Magnesium rolling products (thickness from 0.51mm to 63.5mm) for high-end IT products.

1998 Taichung Plant I was established and engaged in the cutting and the sales of aluminum plates (i.e. Alloy 2000、6000、7000) to be used in parts of national defense, aerospace, precision machinery, mold and construction material. At this stage, Harvard sells the complete alloy series from 1xxx ~ 7xxx.

1994 Started a long-term business relationship with CSAC and became one of the biggest distributors of CSAC in Taiwan.

1993 Agency was granted by ALCAN INC. for the sales of aluminum alloy products, such as sheet, plates, coils, and round bars etc.

1991 Agency was granted by JAPAN DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANS INC. for the sales of 3K-Nut, fastener for arbor tooling, 3K-Nut, in Taiwan.

1990 Sole agency was granted by JAPAN DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANS INC for the sales of Auto Slitting Line with Tension Control System (ex. Belt Bridle & RB21) in Taiwan.

1987 IKEUCHI TAIWAN CO., LTD was formed through the cooperation with Japan’s H. IKEUCHI Co., Ltd.

1981 Started to import non-heat-treatable Aluminum alloys (i.e. alloy 1000, 3000, and 5000) worldwide and traded as a wholesale distributor.

1980 Agency was granted by Japan’s H. IKEUCHI Co., Ltd for the sales of precision industrial spray nozzles and mist humidifiers in Taiwan.

1979 Agency granted by Japan ARITSU for the sales of Flying Micrometer in Taiwan.

1978 Agency granted by Japan DAITO KOKI Co. Ltd for the sales of Slitter Knife, Space Liner and Separator Disk in Taiwan. Besides, Harvard also exported wooden furniture and hardware to Southeast Asia at that time.

1973 Harvard Enterprises Co. Ltd., was established as one of Fu-Tsu Construction’s subsidiaries, engaged in the import of construction materials, machinery, etc.
